With the push for Green Flooring and Eco-Friendly products, there are more choices for carpet and flooring than ever before. This is an exciting time for the future of carpet and floor coverings with new products and manufacturing techniques that are creating sustainable and quality products while reducing the impact on our planet.
With so many carpet options available today, we understand that the process of selecting a floor can be overwhelming and intimidating. Diana Drake and her partner Scott Kirkbride feel that taking the time to educate our customers and providing knowledgeable assistance is crucial to our success. We believe that is what makes Drakes Carpet & Flooring stand out among the rest.
Our Products
Exciting new products in the area of green floors are coming out all the time. For example, our beautiful line of Natural Marmoleum, a resilient floor, is the first flooring to be certified asthma and allergy friendly by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. Our product lines include wool carpet and rugs: untreated wool carpet with no VOCs, wool carpet using traditional materials and manufacturing methods that are low VOC compliant, hand knotted wool area rugs, and machine made area rugs. We offer natural fibers such as sisal, sea grass, aloe, and hemp. Alternative floors such as leather, woven vinyl, and cork are also increasing in popularity. We have natural stone floors, ceramic and porcelain tile. Our Epic line of wood floors qualifies your home for LEED points and our FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified solid and engineered hardwood floors come in many styles and species. And, the laminate floors we offer look so real you think you are looking at real wood.

The criteria we consider in determining if a floor covering is really a green floor, is multifaceted and we look at many of the following factors.
